Most websites these days are simply glorified brochures. Stuffed full of information and social media approval. Incremental improvements of what has always been done in the past – the less than inspiring Home Page, the About Us page that usually says nothing of the things we’d like to learn. Meet The Team pages with individual profiles that read like a cross between a resumé and hobbies guide. A Services page that tells everyone what you do, but little else.
Then there’s the design. Heavy images, flash-based graphics, animations, pop-ups all increase the site’s load time. Time that people haven’t got. Lack of responsive design, poor color choice and font choice, confusing navigation, insufficient white space and lack of security are things we see all too often. It shouldn’t happen but there’s a over-riding sense that business owners place far too little emphasis on their website, imagining that as long as they have a website, that will suffice.

A platform that can host a variety of media such as blogs, videos, podcasts and ebooks. A platform where the message that is shared will determine your success. The better you articulate that message and the better it is distributed, the more people you will attract to your site.
